IT'S SOCIAL TIME AT ST. JOE

Pastor If it’s July, that must mean it’s time for our annual parish social. Our parish social goes back a long way—probably as far back as the beginning of our parish in 1841. Through the years, our parish has gathered to work together as a community, to have some fun and to raise money for the parish. A lot has changed in these one hundred and sixty years, but the spirit of cooperation and sense of caring for our parish has remained constant. Of course it takes a lot of work from lots of people to make this happen. Inside this issue of The Carpenter is a complete list of the workers for all the various booths. We need the chairpersons of each booth and the workers themselves to check this list to make sure it is accurate. If you don’t know it already, there are some really wonderful folks in this parish. Spending some time working together can give you the chance to get to know just how wonderful people are around here
