Rolheiser and discussion.  Each session will meet from 7 – 9 p.m. in the meeting room on Wednesday, February 15, Wednesday, February 29, Wednesday, March 7, Wednesday, March 14 and Wednesday, March 21

I would be willing to work with a group that might like to meet during the daytime.  Contact me! Sharon Vogler

Some excerpts…

Sabbath… is a time off the wheel, time when we take our hand from the plough and let God and the earth care for things.

Sabbath…is a period of time to listen to what is most deeply beautiful, nourishing, or true.

“Remember the Sabbath” means “Remember that everything you have received is a blessing.”

Sabbath time is not spiritually superior to our work. The practice is rather to find that balance point at which, having rested, we do our work with greater ease and joy, and bring healing and delight to our endeavors.

If you could get away for a while and take a vacation alone, where would you go; what would you do?

What distractions, responsibilities in your everyday life would you like to do without for a while?

If a group is interested, we have the Little Rock Scripture Study, “The Passion and Resurrection Narratives of Jesus…This study compares the particular insights found in the passion and resurrection accounts of the four Gospels. Examining these events, the core of our faith, will challenge you to incorporate both the pain of the cross and the hope of the resurrection into daily living. Ideal as a Lenten/Easter study.”  This is arranged to be a six session study…with four sessions before Easter and two sessions after Easter.   Participant books will need to be ordered - the cost will be about $14 per person.
